Need: The No Nuts Baking Company came to Citizen with a one word: Help! As a three-year-old brand struggling to hang on, they either needed to start over or let it die.
Strategy:When you’re at the bottom, you have no where to go but up. Citizen started in our sweet spot, research. Research gave us insights into key aspects of the baked goods category, which then led us down a path of completely re-branding the company from the ground up. A new brand name, position, mission, vision and values were developed and agreed upon. And this was only the beginning of their new Brand Experience.
Approach: Shortly after the relationship started Citizen was proud to learn that The Whirling Whisk had been chosen to participate in the 2009 NY Specialty Food Show- an event taking place only a short three months out.
Outcome: Only a few days back from the NY Food Show and The Whirling Whisk was on to their next great accomplishment. Williams Sonoma and Harry & David were so impressed with The Whirling Whisk’s new brand and product, they wanted to start the process of evaluating them for distribution through their channels.
